RIP disco queen. You made one of the most memorable tracks in the world. I feel love was released in 1977 and was produced by Italian Giorgio Moroder.
He did not only produce just I Feel Love, The Chase and E=MC2 album, all true classics in the electronic dance scene. Besides of these gems he made many of timeless pop classics like You Take My Breath Away, What a Feeling, Love Kills with Freddie Mercury.

Thats why I want put this one in the picture. Danny Howells remix of this classsic which will survive Donna.

Sérgio Mendes — Mas Que Nada (Nervo Remix)

Heard a great new remix of the old time superb track Mas Que Nada by Sérgio Mendes. Check out the Nervo Remix. Even cooler is they are easy on the eye. Yes, they they are female and outrageously beautiful but that’s overshadowed by their sheer talent as DJ, artist and producer.

I’m pretty sure we will hear more about these two.

I have no idea what the lyrics in this track mean but it has to be filthy! I just love this kind of filthy latin americana house made by As tequileiras do funk. Makes me feel like I’m in sunny Brasil!

Sometimes you just need to hear a track once to know what it is: A BOMB. Check out the new track by Menini & Viani – Ankamassa. This is exactly what I like: glammer house which merges two different club worlds and moods: stylish contemporary house meets flavor from the 70′s. I love this Itialian style of house!

They also realised a lot of remixes among most importants “Catch When i Fallin” by Supafly Inc and “Push N Pull” by Sylvia Tosun that realised the first position on bilboard Dance USA. Several times they appeared on Roger Sanchez’s Radio Show Release Yourself.

Found an interesting mix on Soundcloud this week by Yumte.
Yumte is a supplier of copyleft background music and they have more than 35.000 tracks in their catalog covering all music styles : Lounge, Ambient,
Chill, House, Techno, Trance, Poppy, Classic, Urban, Punk, Rock, Reggae and Latin! They posted a small mix (20 minutes) with excerpts from their lounge, chill-out catalog and boy it is super chilled!

Would definitely like to hear more of the music they have in their portfolio so I can download some tracks to my iPod. I can imagine myself already relaxing at the beach in Ibiza listening to these tunes Bring on the summer!

Tiësto & Wolfgang Gartner – We Own The Night ft. Luciana

We didn’t hear a lot from Tiësto the last few years. He still filled the biggest club in Ibiza every week but no new releases which rocked the place (not at least that we can remember). But now the DJ that opened the Olympic Games in Athens is back with We Own The Night. Great crossover between progressive , trance and house. If this is the future sound of music, then we say bring it on! Credits also go to his partner in crime Wolfgang Gartner, American house music producer and DJ.

The dj huwelijk Yargo pointed me to this banger by Avicii’s pupil Otto Knows (also from Sweden). Great electro/progressive house track with catchy vocals which could be heard everywhere during the Musci conference in Miami. This tracks also get great support by Sebastian Ingrosso and Australian DJ & producer Dirty South. Great summer-vibe track!

The Miami Winter Conference is over and finally we know which tracks will be rocking our parties and clubs the next few months. A little bird told me the biggest track of the week was Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl – In my mind. Great house track which already got a lot of support from the big guys like Axwell and Pete Tong.

Australian house music’s rising stars, Feenixpawl, have fast made their mark on the electronic music scene. You will definitely know some of their tracks such as their bootleg of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.

Was looking for some remixes of THE Donna Summer classic of 1977 and came across this fresh remix of Tronicz. Great fresh sound of this Belgian based remix artist! I loved the original but the punchy bass line on this makes it even better. I’m currently playing it on the main speakers and it feels like I’m in Space on a sunny sunday aternoon!

Nause – Mellow

Great new track spotted from Nause, Mellow. Another electro-Avicii sounding track like Fareoh & Archie V. – 2012 (Twenty Twelve). It has the Swedish (Stockholm) sound and vibe all over it. It gets the support from TOPRadio, the party station, over here in Belgium so it will be banging in the clubs in a few weeks!

Great track, great style!
